Third IFIP TC 12 D-CITDRR International Conference I-TDRR 2024 Held at the 24th IFIP World Computer Congress, Santiago, Chile
The Third IFIP TC 12 D-CITDRR International Conference on Digital Citizen, Data and Disaster Resilience (I-TDRR 2024) will be held in conjunction with the 24th IFIP World Computer Congress (WCC 2024) in Santiago, Chile. The conference will provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share their latest research findings, best practices, and policy recommendations on the use of digital technologies to enhance citizen resilience to disasters.
The conference will focus on the following themes:
- Digital citizen empowerment for disaster resilience
- Data-driven approaches to disaster risk reduction and management
- Information and communication technologies for disaster response and recovery
- Ethical and legal issues in the use of digital technologies for disaster resilience
- Policy and governance frameworks for digital disaster resilience
Researchers, practitioners, and policymakers are invited to submit papers on the following topics:

The conference will be held at the Hotel InterContinental Santiago, which is located in the heart of Santiago's business and financial district. The hotel is easily accessible by public transportation and is within walking distance of many of Santiago's most popular tourist attractions.
Registration for the conference will open in early 2024. The registration fee will include access to all conference sessions, as well as the conference proceedings and social events.
The Hotel InterContinental Santiago offers a variety of room types to accommodate all budgets. The hotel also offers a number of amenities, including a swimming pool, fitness center, and spa.
Santiago is served by the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL). The airport is located approximately 15 kilometers from the city center. Taxis and buses are available to transport passengers from the airport to the city center.
