Bellfort Bax's Life and Work

He served as the SDF's General Secretary from 1885 to 1890, and he was a member of the party's Executive Committee for many years.
Bax was a prolific writer, and he published over 50 books and pamphlets on a wide range of topics, including socialism, philosophy, and economics. His most famous work is probably The Ethics of Socialism (1889),which is a classic of socialist literature.
Bax was also a leading figure in the men's rights movement. He was a founding member of the Men's Rights Union, and he wrote extensively on the need for men to be responsible for their own well-being. Bax's work on men's rights has been influential in the development of modern men's studies.
Bax died in London on October 26, 1926. He was 72 years old.
